Time springs ahead
      You know spring can't be far away if we're setting our clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time. The big time change happens this weekend. The up side is that we'll have an extra hour of daylight in the evenings. Of course, the down side is that we lose an hour of sleep.

Give a pint on Monday
      Islanders are asked to donate blood next week. There will be a blood drive on Monday, March 10, from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Ghost Hall on Narragansett Avenue. The drive will be sponsored by the good folks at the Jamestown Emergency Medical Services.
