Read the Vision report

Many islanders participated in the recent Jamestown Vision project, so there was great anticipation for the final report detailing the findings from all the data collected during the week-long charrette process.

The report is complete. It was presented last week at a meeting of the Planning Commission. You can find a copy of the report online. Go to www.jamestownri.net and click on "departments" and then click on "planning." You can download a copy of the report to your computer.

All Jamestowners should take the time to read this report. There are many good ideas that we should consider as we plan for the island's future.

Let's keep the momentum going. Now is the time for action to ensure that our village will remain a healthy downtown in the years to come.
