Lighthouse group offers scholarships

Applications for the 2008 Beavertail Lighthouse Museum Association Scholarship are available now in the Jamestown library.

The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, from Jamestown, who have been accepted to a college or university.

Two recipients will each receive $1,000, which may be applied toward college tuition, books or fees related to a course of study.

Completed applications must be mailed to the BLMA, W. Craig Armington Scholarship, P.O. Box 83, Jamestown, RI 02853, and postmarked by April 7.
