Diabetes awareness day in Cranston

Rhode Island Hospital will sponsor a Diabetes Awareness Day at the Cranston Senior Center on Saturday, April 5.

The session, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will cover topics related to diabetes, including glaucoma and vision screenings, stroke risk assessments, cholesterol and blood glucose screenings and podiatry exams will also be offered.

The senior center is located at 1070 Cranston St., Cranston.
