Help plant beach grasses this Saturday

The Conservation Commission will conduct a sand dune restoration project this Saturday, March 29, to repair dunes damaged in last fall's storm.

They are seeking volunteers to help island teens and Scouts plant 11,000 beach grass plants.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at Mackerel Cove and bring a trowel if they have one. The rain date is Sunday, March 30, at 9 a.m.
