Learn about life cycles of animals at library

During school vacation week, the Audubon Society of Rhode Island will present a program for children in kindergarten through grade 2. "Life Cycles 1" will take place on Wednesday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to noon. Children will learn about and investigate the life cycles of insects, amphibians and egg bearing animals through the use of bio-facts and station activities.

"Life Cycles 2" will be for children in grades 3 to 5. This program will also take place on Wednesday, April 16, and run from 1 to 2 p.m. The lesson provides older students with an in-depth look at the life cycles of insects, amphibians and egg bearing animals.

For more information, visit the library at 26 North Main Rd., call 423-7280, or e-mail rowenadunlap@ gmail.com. The programs are sponsored by the Friends of Jamestown Library.
