Festival looking for film submissions

Hera Gallery announced a call for entries for films and videos to be submitted to the Main Street Independent Film Festival.

The festival will take place in historic Wakefield at the Church of the Ascension on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20.

The festival is open to all ages and all filmmakers. A runtime of 10 to 12 minutes or under is requested for filmmakers aged 12 and under; 10 to 20 minutes for those aged 13 to 18; and with an ideal runtime of 30 minutes or under for an open category for adults 19 and over. Submissions should include a DVD copy of the film, filmmakers' contact information, a short synopsis of the film, and a biographical paragraph or resume. Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of materials. Deadline for submissions is May 15.
