Family fishing derby planned

The South Kingstown Parks and Recreation department will host a family fishing derby on Saturday, May 3, at Ninigret Park in Charlestown.

The time is 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $4 per person for South Kingstown residents and $7 for nonresidents.

This is a chance to try out the family's fishing skills and have some fun. Prizes will be awarded. Call 789-9301 to register.
