Women's center gala tomorrow

The Women's Resource Center hosts its annual fund-raiser, Men Who Make a Difference, at the Hotel Viking this Friday evening, April 25,

The gala begins with cocktails from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Money raised will be used toward funding the purchase of a new, up-to-date shelter, and will continue to help fund services for women, children and other victims of domestic violence, board president and Jamestown resident Tina Harsch said. The evening honors men in local communities that have helped support the center and the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
