Art classes in Wickford

The Wickford Art Association will offer four new classes at their Beach Street location, beginning later this month.

A class on Composition, with accomplished watercolorist, Vernon Graham is scheduled to begin June 4. The class will meet on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon for 5 weeks. All mediums and skill levels are welcomed. The class is $75 for WAA members or $85 for the general public.

A one-day photographic workshop by Cindy Horovitz Wilson and Eileen McCarney Muldoon is scheduled for May 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the case of rain, the class will be held on June 1. Any sort of camera is fine to use, including point and shoots.

The class is $48 for WAA members or $52 for non-members. Wilson will also hold an Intro to Digital Photography class on June 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. The class is $24 for WAA members or $30 for nonmembers.

Beginning June 10, Watercolor with Lorraine Bromely will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. for 4 weeks.
