Church needs items for festival sale

The annual June Festival at the Central Baptist Church will be Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Donations of items to sell will be accepted beginning this Saturday, May 17.

Requested donations include gently-used games and toys, wooden and wicker furniture, books and DVDs, jewelry, plants and garden equipment, artwork and decorative items, housewares in good condition; vintage items and small rugs. Clothing, upholstered furniture, and large appliances will not be accepted.

CBC's building, which is located at 99 Narragansett Ave., will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, beginning May 17. Pick up of larger items also may be arranged by calling the church office at 423-1651 from 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays.
