Warrant violation charged

Ashley Teixeira, 20, of Peace Dale was charged May 16 for a warrant violation for failure to appear on a suspended license charge after her car was spotted in a Conanicus Avenue parking lot, police said.

Teixiera was taken to Newport District Court, police said.
