Clyde R. Park, 78

Clyde R. Park, 78, of East Shore Road, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Barbara J. (Denny) Park.

Born in Derry, N.H., he was a son of the late Charles Ross and Ruth E. (Wilson) Park.

He was a mechanic in South County for many years before retiring. An avid striper fisherman, he was a member of the Striper Club in Jamestown.

He leaves a daughter, Barbara L. Pierson of North Kingstown; a companion of 10 years, Inez Adkins of Jamestown; two brothers, Howard Park of Coventry and Charles E. Park of East Greenwich; two grandchildren, Lynn R. Hellman and Russell Pierson; and two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Scott Camera.

His funeral service was held Saturday from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Burial was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 143 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
