Vandalism charged

Amy Gladding, 33, of 66 Pemberton Ave., was charged June 11 with malicious injury to property and resisting arrest at her home address.

According to police, officers responded to a call for a disturbance in progress and found several items in the house allegedly destroyed by Gladding, who resisted the officers during the arrest.

Gladding was held overnight, and an arraignment was scheduled for June 20 at Newport District Court, police said.
