Garden club to visit Sutton gardens

Members of the Quononoquott Garden Club will be visiting the country garden of Lynda Sutton as part of their meeting on Monday, July 14.

President Jill Meyer will conduct a business meeting at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Parish Hall and after that members will carpool to the garden.

The hospitality team will provide a picnic lunch, which members can enjoy amid summer's many splendid perennials in a garden that will be featured in "Better Homes and Gardens Country Gardens" this summer.

At the business meeting President Meyer will remind members to invite neighbors, family and friends to next month's program at the library, which will feature a representative from Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation, who will discuss recycling and how the state works to stay green. This program will take place on Monday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m.
