      Summer Music in Jamestown continues at East Ferry Memorial Square this Sunday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m. with Atwater Donnelly, a Rhode Island-based folk music duo. This team met as volunteers at Stone Soup Coffee House in Providence in 1987 and have been singing together ever since.

      There will be a blood drive Monday, July 21, from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Ghost Hall on Narragansett Avenue. The drive is sponsored by the Arnold Zweir Post 22 of the American Legion, the Jamestown EMS and Memorial Post 9447 of the VFW.

Sharpen skills at girls' lacrosse camp

Seniors picnic this Saturday
      The Jamestown Housing Authority will host the annual Commissioner's Picnic on Saturday, July 19, beginning at noon. All senior citizens and islanders with disabilities are invited to attend this free event. The picnic will be held outdoors at the Pemberton Apartments.
