Register now for after-school programs

The Jamestown Education Foundation and the Jamestown School Department will offer a series of after school programs for children this winter. Programs are offered for all grade levels for the children of Jamestown.

The eight-week session begins Tuesday, Jan. 20, and runs through the third week of March. While many of the programs are offered at no cost, some programs may have a nominal fee for materials. Fee waivers are available.

Programs offered this session include: cooking, circus 101, Empty Bowls (fund-raiser for the food bank), robotics, science olympiad, short films, Spanish, string ensemble, Student Council, writer's club, and yearbook. In addition, there is an after-school homework group each day.
