The Teen Center's Youth Advisory Board, Adolescents Making Programs for Teens, is hosting its first event on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the recreation center, 41 Conanicus Ave.

There will be a buffet-style pasta dinner with ziti and meatballs, salad and bread with a prize giveaway to follow.

All proceeds from the event will go towards funding programs for teens. Tickets will be sold in advance for $10 at Baker's Pharmacy, East Ferry Deli and the recreation center. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.

Children under 5 eat free.
