The award is supported in part by a grant from The Rhode Island Foundation, along with funding from the members of the Jamestown Community Chorus. Applicants must be full-time residents of Jamestown, or non-residents who actively participate in the Jamestown music community.

The award will support funding up to $500 and can be used for, but is not limited to: instruction books, vocal or instrument lessons, music workshops, undergraduate or graduate education, summer camp, or expenses related to music development or purchase of instruments.

Applicants must be of middle school age and over (grade 6 and up). Adults and seniors are encouraged to apply.
