Church forum focuses on Baha'i faith
Gerhard and Christine Muller will provide an introduction to the Baha'i faith during a forum at Central Baptist Church. The event, which is open to the public, will begin at 11 a.m. this Sunday, March 22.
The presentation will explore the history of the Baha'i faith since its beginning in 1844. It will also address the tradition's spiritual and social teachings and principles, as well as its community life worldwide.
Gerhard Muller was born in Switzerland and studied physics at the University of Basel. He has served as a physics professor at the University of Rhode Island since 1984.
Christine Muller studied piano and music education at the Conservatory in Basel, Switzerland. She now teaches piano at the URI Preparatory Program.
Concerned with the problem of climate change, Christine has written the script and most of the songs for the artistic presentation "Climate Change, Science and Religion." More recently she wrote an interfaith study course on climate change.
