Kids of ages invited to after-school programs
The Jamestown Education Foundation and the Jamestown School Department will offer a series of after-school programs for children this spring. Programs are offered for all grade levels for the children of Jamestown.
The six-to eight-week session begins Monday, April 20. While many of the programs are offered at no cost, some programs may have a nominal fee for materials. Fee waivers are available.
Programs offered this session include: cooking, creative movement, Empty Bowls, hip hop, newspaper club, photography, recycled messenger bags, robotics, Spanish, string ensemble, student council, Take the Stage!, writer's club, yearbook and yoga. In addition, there is an after-school homework group each day.
