The Jamestown Recreation Department will start a String Ensemble on Tuesday, April 21, for anyone who plays violin, viola, cello and double bass.

The ensemble will be directed by Susan Gorelick. It will be an eight-week session, meeting every Tuesday starting April 21 through June 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The group will not meet May 21.

The cost is $40 per person and participants are asked to bring music stands, as the Recreation Department does not have their own.
