All aboard for train program at the library

Train fans of all ages can come together to see model trains, hear train stories, meet other train lovers, and learn about safety around the tracks from representatives Jack McCabe and Archie Clarke, of Rhode Island Operation Lifesaver, at the Jamestown library.

On Monday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the library will host a spring school vacation program, "Just about Trains."

Jamestowners William "Mac" McCarthy and Manuel Neronha will be showing off some of their model train collections.

This program is sponsored by Rhode Island Operation Lifesaver, part of a national railroad safety education program, and the Jamestown Philomenian Library.

Registration is not required for this free program, which will take place in the library meeting hall.
