Turn off necklace lights on bridge
      The necklace lights on Boston's Zachem Bridge are being turned off. Why? The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority stated that they could save $5,000 a month by turning off the lights. If RITBA would turn off the necklace lights on the Newport Pell Bridge, they would help our purses and our planet.

Let's explore options for trash pick up
      I had called Jamestown Public Works two weeks ago about the messiness of Beacon Avenue. Dana called me back last week and it looks like some work was done on cleaning that area. Thanks for any and all help. I think that one of Jamestown's most easily corrected issues could be trash and litter control.

Thanks for generous donation to farm
      Fred Bingell, owner of the "House of Pizza," recently donated a beautiful little building to the Jamestown Community Farm. It is a building that Fred built several years ago to allow him to sell food at concerts, beaches and other summer locations; you may remember it at Mackerel Cove.
