Volunteers make rabies clinic a success

The Town Clerk's office would like to recognize all the individuals who helped make the 2009 Rabies Clinic a success.

We would like to thank the Jamestown Fire Department for the use of the fire station and for being so accommodating to our needs.

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the rabies clinic and dog registration a success, including members of the Jamestown Humane Society; R.I. Veterinary Medical Association; Dr. Walker of the Jamestown Animal Clinic and the Jamestown Animal Control Offi cer.

There were 77 dogs registered and 99 animals inoculated during the one hour clinic. The Rabies Clinic would not be possible or as successful without the help of all the volunteers. Heather Lopes Deputy Town Clerk, Pro Tem
