CIAA seeks artists for 'Icons of Jamestown'

Artists are invited to submit their work to the Conanicut Island Art Association's upcoming "Icons of Jamestown" show.

Members, non-members and non-Jamestown residents are welcome to submit their work. "Icons of Jamestown" will open Thursday, June 25, at Jamestown Town Hall Gallery.

Artists may enter up to three pieces. All art must be wired and ready to hang, with no saw tooth hangers. Maximum size is 48 inches by 48 inches. Maximum weight is 20 pounds. Non-member fees are $15 for the first piece and $5 for each remaining piece. Cost to members is $10 for the first piece and $5 for all other pieces. CIAA commission is 20 percent on all pieces sold.

Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places
