Library book sale begins July 9

The Jamestown library’s annual book sale will begin on Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m. with a paid preview. Paid members of the Friends of the Jamestown Library receive free admission to the preview. After the paid preview event, the book sale will continue during regular library hours.

Some little-used and muchloved volumes will be available at great prices. The sale will continue until Friday, July 24.

Prices are $2 for hardcover books, $1 for paperbacks, $1 for children’s hardcover books and 50 cents for children’s paperbacks. The sale will also include a table of Jamestown and Rhode Island history books.

The library is open Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Membership forms to join the Friends are available at the library, with special children’s memberships for $5.
