Angelo J. Salvatore, 94
Jamestown, died June 27, 2009, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol.
Born in Santa Apollinare, Italy, he was a son of the late Gabriel and Marietta (Valenti) Salvatore. He was a foreman for the former United Wire and Supply Company of Cranston, and was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anna Cardente, Frances Nardolillo, Vera DiLibero, Edith Currier, Eleanor Marsella, Vincent Salvatore, Vincent Marsella, Alfred Salvatore and Romeo Salvatore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 60 Narragansett Ave. in Jamestown. Inurnment with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
