Book sale continues during regular library hours

It is not too late to pick up a great summer read. The James town library’s annual book sale continues during regular library hours until Friday, July 24.

Some little-used and muchloved volumes are available at great prices. Prices are $2 for hardcover books, $1 for paperbacks, $1 for children’s hardcover books and 50 cents for children’s paperbacks. The sale also includes a table of Jamestown and Rhode Island history books.

The library is open Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Membership forms to join the Friends are available at the library, with special children’s memberships available for $5.
