TOWN HALL RECORDS

Building permits

John McCray received a permit on July 2 to strip and re-shingle a house at 24 Constellation Court. Work estimated to cost $15,000.

Charles Graves received a permit to build and install stairs to a deck at 7 Ship St. Work estimated to cost $3,000.

Jerry and Fran Gorman received a permit on July 1 to build a twocar garage with a studio above it at 44 Maple Ave. Work estimated to cost $89,000.

Marilyn Thomas and Berne Greene received a permit on July 6 to build a shed roof addition, remodel a kitchen, add a small bathroom and install a new gas heating system and propane tank at 79 Whittier Rd. Work estimated to cost $120,000.

Art and Wooley Dutton received a permit on July 6 to replace windows in a sun porch at 95 Longfellow Rd. Work estimated to cost $5,000.

Richard Dickson received a permit on July 7 to strip and re-roof a house at 6 Douglas St. Work estimated to cost $3,000.

Dwight and Judy Smith received a permit on July 9 to strip and side a residence at 87 Intrepid Ave. Work estimated to cost $10,000.

George Newman received a permit on July 9 to remove part of a wall and install a new sliding glass door at 2 Ferry St. Work estimated to cost $2,500.

Freebody LLC received a permit on July 9 to install concrete flooring and internal partitions at 260 Conanicus Ave. Work estimated to cost $20,000.

Electrical permits

The Town of Jamestown received a permit on July 2 to wire a new addition to the police station per plan. Work estimated to cost $28,000.

Dutch Harbor LLC received a permit on July 7 to revamp electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp, and to install outlets to a small outbuilding at 252 Narragansett Ave. Work estimated to cost $3,000.

Allan Randall received a permit on July 7 to install a Class B fire alarm system at 65 Narragansett Ave. Work estimated to cost $6,500.

Island Properties LLC received a permit on July 7 to wire a pool at 26 Pardon Tucker Terrace. Work estimated to cost $500.

The Town of Jamestown received a permit on July 7 to install 100 amp service to a dock at Ft. Getty Rd. Work estimated to cost $11,000.

Gladys Geib received a permit on July 7 to wire an addition at 120 Battery Lane. Work estimated to cost $3,000.

Charles Cabral, Jr. received a permit on July 9 to re-wire a bathroom at 63 Conanicus Ave., Apt. 4. Work estimated to cost $400.
