Black and White to perform Sunday
Black and White, a three-piece blues rock band, will perform a cool set of rhythm and blues this Sunday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. at East Ferry Memorial Square.
One of Rhode Island’s busiest working bands, Black and White has headlined at venues along the East Coast and performed at the Boston Blues Festival. The band started as a quartet in 1990 and became a trio in 1995. Over the years, Black and White has shared billing with such legendary and eclectic acts as Bo Diddley, Southside Johnny, G.E. Smith, Junior Wells, Buckwheat Zydeco, Rick Derringer, .38 Special, Duke Robillard and Dr. Hook.
Black and White features Don DiMuccio on drums, Jason James on guitar and Kevin Martin on bass.
Bring blankets or chairs to enjoy this free concert, sponsored by the Jamestown Fire Department, Evan Corporation and Integrated Management Solutions. The show will go on at the Recreation Center if rain occurs.
