Book discussions at Jamestown library

The Jamestown library has announced its book discussion group schedule for fall.

On Monday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m., the groups will discuss “The Women” by T. Coraghessan Boyle.

Future titles and dates for discussion are: • Sept. 14 and 15, “My Stroke of Insight” by Jill Bolte Taylor. • Oct. 19 and 20, “A History of Love” by Nicole Krauss. • Nov. 16 and 17, “Stoner” by John Edward Williams.

• Dec. 14 and 15, “Olive Kitteridge” by Elizabeth Strout.

Meetings are usually held the third week of the month. The evening group meets at 7 p.m. and the afternoon group meets at 1 p.m. Both groups are facilitated by Jamestown Philomenian Library Director Judy Bell.
