JAC grateful for plan approval

The Jamestown Arts Center would like to thank the Water & Sewer Commission, the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board for unanimously approving the proposed plans for the future home of the Jamestown Arts Center at 18 Valley St.

We are thrilled to be moving forward from our due diligence phase into our fund-raising efforts in earnest. In last week’s Press, Tyler Will wrote that renovations could cost $150,000. There is a range and that number could go as high as $600,000 above our purchase cost, depending on various phases; however, we plan on being up and running as soon as we possibly can with an array of exciting programs. We look forward to everyone’s “unanimous” support once again.

Thank you.
