The East Passage of Narragansett Bay beneath the Newport Bridge will be temporarily closed to vessel traffic this Saturday, Aug. 15, between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. for the Save the Bay swim.

The U.S. Coast Guard will allow vessels to pass on a case-by-case basis during the event, and can be contacted on VHF channel 16 (Marine radio).
