Newbolt to attend Rochester Institute of Technology

Joel William Newbolt of Jamestown, son of Annette and William Newbolt, has enrolled for the fall semester at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Newbolt, recipient of a RIT achievement scholarship and a R.I. Higher Education academic scholarship, will major in physics. He is a 2009 graduate of North Kingstown High School.

Jamestown students graduate from Dartmouth

Two Jamestown students recently graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.

Caleb Joseph Martin, son of David and Linda Martin, received a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and cognitive science.

Kristen Anne Rounds, daughter of Christopher and Denise Rounds, received a bachelor of arts degree in classical studies.

Langlais graduates from N.E. School of Law

Sandi Langlais of Jamestown recently graduated cum laude from New England School of Law in Boston. She also served as the executive case and note editor of the Journal on Civil & Criminal Confinement and recently sat for the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bars.

Muldoon named to Loyola dean’s list

Shannon Muldoon of Jamestown, a member of the class of 2011 at Loyola College in Maryland, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2009 semester.
