Larceny and attempted larceny

• William Rosener, 19, of 8 Dewey Lane in Jamestown, was charged Aug. 9 with attempted larceny over $500 and larceny over $500 for allegedly stealing a kayak and allegedly attempting to steal a motorized dinghy at Dutch Harbor Boatyard, police said. Rosener was held at the police station and a re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 14 in Newport District Court.

• A juvenile from Saunderstown was charged Aug. 9 with attempted larceny over $500 and larceny over $500 for allegedly stealing a kayak and allegedly attempting to steal a motorized dinghy at Dutch Harbor Boatyard, police said. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 11 in Newport District Court.

Driving without a license

• John Kaiser, 43, of 171 Conanicus Ave. Apt. E in Jamestown, was charged Aug. 7 with driving on a revoked license during a routine traffic stop on Narragansett Avenue, police said. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 14 in Newport District Court, police said.

Obstructing an officer

• Morgan Clark, 18, of North Kingstown, was charged Aug. 9 with obstructing a police officer after allegedly giving a false name to an officer during an investigation at the Ft. Getty boat dock, police said. Clark was held at the police station and a re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 14 in Newport District Court, police said

Outstanding warrant

• Kelly Crouchley, 42, of Narragansett, was picked up on an outstanding warrant from the North Kingstown Police Dept. Aug 6 on Narragansett Avenue, police said. Crouchley was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a minor accident and was held at the police station, police said. A court date was not set.
