Estelle E. Goulet (Vaine), 77, of Union Drive, passed away August 22, 2009. She was the wife of the late Harry H. Goulet.

Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Emil and Ernestine (De- Celles) Vaine, she lived in Jamestown for 25 years before moving to North Kingstown.

She received a degree in business from Johnson & Wales University. In her younger years, she worked as an executive secretary. After raising her children, she worked as a cook and caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed writing poetry.

She leaves two sons, James H. Goulet of Cranston and John E. Goulet of East Greenwich; two daughters, Cynthia E. Marks of Richmond and Carol L. Radcliffe of North Kingstown; two sisters, Muriel Moody of Warren and Madeline Jacques of Uxbridge, Mass.; 11 beloved grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Her funeral will be held today, Aug. 27, at noon from the Fagan- Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a graveside service at 1 p.m. in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
