Jamestowners are needed to work alongside 200 Providence College freshmen and their professors this Saturday, Sept. 5, for a day of volunteering.

Sharon Hay, dean of student programming and a Jamestown resident, has arranged for seven island projects to be completed, including beach clean-up and maintenance projects.

Anyone interested in volunteering should meet at the library at 9 a.m.
