Fire runs

7:30 a.m., Aug. 25, Car 2 and Engine 3 were dispatched to Orient Avenue for an outside rubbish fire.

4:07 p.m., Aug. 25, Car 1, Ladder 1 and Engines 1, 2 and 3 were sent to Melrose Avenue for an unintentional alarm.

9:19 a.m., Aug. 26, Car 1 and Engine 2 went to Southwest Avenue for a boiler malfunction.

6:04 p.m., Aug. 26, Cars 1 and 4, and Engine 2 were dispatched to Conanicus Avenue. The call was cancelled en route.

7 p.m., Aug. 27, Ladder 1, Tankers 1, 2 and 15, Rescue 1, and Engines 1, 2 and 3 turned out at the fire station for a drill.

11:57 a.m., Aug. 28, Car 1 went to Bay View Drive. The call was cancelled en route.

12:25 p.m., Aug. 28, Special Services 1 was dispatched to Narragansett Avenue for a fuel spill.

EMS runs

9:21 a.m., Aug. 23, West Reach Drive, transported.

12:18 p.m., Aug. 23, Frigate Street, patient refusal.

1:07 p.m., Aug. 25, Howland Avenue, patient refusal.

1 a.m., Aug. 26, Longfellow Road, transported.

8:52 a.m., Aug. 27, West Reach Drive, transported.

2:23 p.m., Aug. 28, Sampan Street, patient refusal.

4:31 p.m., Aug. 28, Carr Lane, transported.

This week, JEMS transported three patients to Newport Hospital and one patient to South County Hospital. Two patients were evaluated and refused transport. Patients were treated for difficulty breathing, reduced level of consciousness, diabetic reaction, post-surgical complications, chest and abdominal pain, and lift assist.
