The Jamestown Education Foundation will once again offer a five-week golf program for children with the Jamestown Golf Course, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 15. The program will run through Oct. 13.

Tee-offs will begin at 3 p.m., with foursomes leaving every 10 minutes. The program can accommodate a maximum of 20 children who have previously played on a course.

Chuck Connors will be on hand to supervise, teach golf etiquette and give basic golf advice.

Children should bring their own clubs; however, a limited number of rentals are available at the golf course.

Parents are responsible for transporting children to the golf course by 3 p.m. Pick-up time will depend on when the child tees off.

Cost for the five sessions is $60 per child; financial assistance is available.
