POLICE LOG

Suspended license

• Tracy Gregoire, 34, of 294 Rose Hill Rd. in Wakefield, was charged Sept. 7 with driving with a suspended or revoked license during a traffic stop on Route 138, police said. An arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 18 in Newport District Court, according to police.

• Rogelio Lara, 25, of 280 Pleasant St. in Pawtucket, was charged Sept. 7 with driving with a suspended license and two bench warrants during a traffic stop on North Main Road, according to police. He was held at the ACI and an arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 18 in Newport District Court, according to police.

DUI charges

• Dustin Hedburg, 26, of 22 Pardon Tucker Place, was charged Sept. 5 with second-offense DUI after he was allegedly involved in a one-car accident on the Jamestown bridge, police said. He was held at the police station and a rearraignment will be scheduled in Newport District Court, according to police.

• Paul Piacitelli, 22, of 125 Setian Lane in West Warwick, was charged Sept. 6 with firstoffense DUI on Route 138 after police received a call from Newport Police to be on the lookout for an erratic driver, according to police. He was held at the police station and a re-arraignment will be scheduled in Newport District Court, police said.

Possession of crack cocaine

• Janelle Martin, 57, of 9 Kay St. in Newport, was charged Sept. 5 with possession of crack cocaine during a traffic stop for alleged erratic driving on Route 138, police said. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 11 in Newport District Court, according to police.

Possession of marijuana

• Dustin Hedburg, 26, of 22 Pardon Tucker Place, was charged Sept. 6 with first-offense possession of marijuana on Route 138 westbound after police received multiple calls reporting a man stumbling in the roadway, police said. Officers allegedly found marijuana when they searched the suspect, police said. He was held at the police station, according to police.

• Daniel Zepheryn Dupre, 18, of 16 Green Lane, was charged Sept. 5 with first-offense possession of marijuana at Dutch Harbor Boatyard when police investigated a group of people, according to police. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 11 in Newport District Court, police said.

• A juvenile was charged Aug. 31 with first-offense possession of marijuana at Ft. Wetherill State Park, police said.

Alcohol possession

• Meghan Gagnon, 18, of 15 Cynthia Dr. in Coventry, was charged Sept. 4 with transportation of an alcoholic beverage by a minor during a traffic stop on Route 138, according to police. An arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 18 in Newport District Court, police said.

• Taylor J. Delvecchio, 19, of 13 Union Dr. in North Kingstown, was charged Sept. 4 with transportation of an alcoholic beverage by a minor during a traffic stop on Route 138, police said. An arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 18 in Newport District Court, according to police.

Warrant arrests

• Richard Welch Jr., 35, of 123 Seascape Ave. in Middletown, was arrested Sept. 7 on a bench warrant from Newport District Court during a traffic stop on Route 138, police said. An arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 8 in Newport District Court, according to police.

• Joseph Broomhead, 37, of 12 Nun Ave., was arrested Sept. 3 on an affidavit warrant from the South Kingstown police for alleged violation of banking laws, according to police. He was turned over to the South Kingstown police department, police said.
