Devon Martin, Kindergarten Devon Martin, Kindergarten The Eagle and the Mink Once upon a time there was a mink at. His name is Romvyor. He lived under a tree stump where half of the roots were sticking out so he could slip in. Inside he was drinking some huckleberry juice. In a marshland some eagles were hunting for their favorite food, mink! Later in the day Romvyor was hunting for some fish by the river bank. An eagle came by name Dilk. He wanted to be friends with the mink but the mink refused! Romvyor did not want to be frinds with his worst enemy but he thought of what the eagle could do for him. He could take a ride on his back. He has always wanted to do that so they became great friends, They did mostly everything together. They were friends until they died.

I Am

I am speedy and try to read
as much as I can
I wonder how many other
planets there are in the
galaxy
I hear vibrations in the floor
I see time and space
I want a portal to the video
game world
I am speedy and try to read
as much as I can
I pretend to be Bob the
Magic Snail
I feel space
I touch the moon

I worry that I will die
I cry, not that much
I am speedy and read as
much as I can
I understand that Texas is
humongous
I say that salt and vinegar
chips are good
I dream about a vampire
chasing me
I try to get up early
I hope I will go to the Pinewood
Derby Nationals
I am speedy and try to read
as much as I can

I am a boy who likes baseball.

I wonder if there is somebody
who could hit 20 homeruns
in a game.
I hear the sound of the fans.
I see the ball coming toward
me.
I want to be in the major
league baseball league.
I am a boy who likes baseball.

I pretend I am Babe Ruth.
I touch the leather oil on my
glove.
I feel the sun beating down

on me.
I worry that the ball will hit
me on the head.
I cry if we lose the game.
I am a boy who likes baseball.

I understand that you can’t
win every game.
I say good job to the other
team.
I dream I am on the Red Sox.
I try to be very good.
I hope I will still play baseball.

I am a boy who likes baseball.

I am adventurous and
caring,
I wonder about tomorrow,
I hear clocks ticking,
I see birds dancing,
I want the whole world to
be free,
I am adventurous and
caring.
I pretend I can fly,
I feel the whispering wind
on my cheek,
I touch the hands of my
Memere and Pepere,
I cry about my dad leaving
to help other countries,

I am adventurous and
caring.
I understand why things
have to be the way they
are,
I say lives should last
longer,
I dream about being a
princess,
I hope a cure for cancer
will come along,
I am adventurous and
caring.
