4:41 p.m., Sept. 29, Ladder 1, Tanker 2, Car 2 and Engines 2 and 3 went to Beavertail Road for a malfunctioning smoke detector.

7:30 p.m., Oct. 1, Ladder 1, Tankers 1 and 2, Rescue 1, Cars 2 and 3, and Engines 1, 2 and 3 turned out at the fire station for a drill.

8:28 a.m., Oct. 2, Car 1 and Engine 1 were dispatched to East Shore Road for an electrical problem.

10:17 a.m., Oct. 3, Ladder 1, Car 2 and Engine 1 went to Narragansett Avenue for a malfunctioning alarm system due to water in the detectors.

8:19 p.m., Oct. 3, Ladder 1, Tanker 1, Car 2 and Engine 1 were sent to Southwest Avenue for a malfunctioning alarm system due to water in the detectors.

9:13 a.m., Oct. 3, EMS 1, Brookfield Avenue, transported.

3:05 p.m., Oct. 3, EMS 1, Ft. Getty Road, transported.

2:58 a.m., Oct. 4, EMS 1, America Way, refused transport.

1:03 p.m., Oct. 4, EMS 1, Skysail Street, refused transport.

This past week, JEMS transported seven patients to Newport Hospital and had two refusal of transports. One trauma call was for treatment of cuts resulting from a fall. Medical calls included general weakness, severe back pain, abdominal pain, internal bleeding, loss of consciousness and disorientation.
