suspended license

• Barbara Bailey McCarry, 46, of 2201 SE 46th Terrace in Gainsville, Fla., was charged Sept. 28 with driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop for vehicle equipment violation on Route 138 westbound, according to police. An arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 9 in Newport District Court, police said.

• John Davis, 55, of 12 Mountain View Rd. in Narragansett, was charged Sept. 26 with driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop for erratic driving on Route 138, according to police. An arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 2 in Newport District Court, police said.
