POLICE LOG
      DUI charges • Victoria Hunter, 46, of 11 Dixon St. in Newport, was charged Oct. 11 with first-offense DUI after she allegedly ran a stop sign on North Main Road and refused field sobriety tests, according to police. She was held at the police station and a re-arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 16 in Newport District Court, police said.

      EMS runs • 7:43 p.m., Oct. 14, EMS 1, North Main Road, transported. • 3:56 a.m., Oct. 18, EMS 1, Southwest Avenue, transported. Medical calls this week included loss of consciousness, stomach pain and post-operative incision pain.
