Get your ‘golden ticket’ now for Jamestown Community Theatre’s ‘Willy Wonka’

Tickets are now on sale for the Jamestown Community Theatre’s production of “Willy Wonka.” Adapted from the book, “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,” by Roald Dahl and from the film, with lyrics and music by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, this timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his search to find an heir, comes to life in this recently released stage adaptation that features the songs from the classic family film “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.”

There will be two weekends of performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, and on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 4 p.m. Performances will also be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, and on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in Jamestown at Baker’s Pharmacy, Secret Garden, the Conanicut Marine Store and at Cathryn Jamieson Salon.

Ticket prices are $13 for adults if purchased in advance, and $16 when purchased at the door. Tickets for children 12 and under – and seniors 65 and older – are $8 in advance and $11 at the door.
