DUI charges
• Juan A. Mendoza Jr., 26, of 18120 Patriot Way in West Greenwich, was charged Oct. 24 with first-offense DUI after police received a call from the toll plaza, saying that a vehicle had hit guardrails and blew out two tires, according to police. He was held at the police station and a re-arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 30 in Newport District Court, police said.
Domestic vandalism
• Erin Netro, 27, of 130 America Way, was charged Oct. 22 with domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property during a domestic dispute, according to police. She was held at the police station and an arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 22 in Newport District Court, police said.
Disorderly conduct
• Stephen Currie, 42, of 8 Edwards Drive in Ashaway, was charged Oct. 19 with disorderly conduct (fighting/tumultuous behavior) after an employee at a Narragansett Ave. business called to report a fight, according to police. He was held at the police station and an arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 20 in Newport District Court, police said.
Possession of heroin
• Matthew Reilly, 36, of 29 Bayberry Rd., was charged Oct. 21 with possession of heroin after Jamestown police obtained a warrant for his arrest and he turned himself in, according to police. He was held at the police station and a bail review was scheduled for Nov. 17 in Newport District Court, police said.
