Jamestown Gallery to host reception

The Jamestown Gallery will celebrate its grand opening with a reception at the new gallery this Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 47 Conanicus Ave.

The Jamestown Gallery is a cooperative of artists, including painters Elizabeth Congdon and Fran Gorman, ceramist Karen Imbriale, marine photographer Daniel Forster and modern artist Roger Kirby. Artists from the space’s previous Schock Gallery group are painters Cynthia Blair and Barbara Hutchinson, and photographers Kate Petrie and Pat Tuff. Guest artist Dori Hirsch will show her beaded jewelry this month.

The gallery will be open in November and December, and will reopen again in May.
