• Jeffrey Allen, 23, of 10 Gardiner St. in Newport, was charged Oct. 31 with disorderly conduct after he was observed allegedly urinating in public outside a business on Narragansett Avenue, according to police. An arraignment will be scheduled in Newport District Court, police said.
Possession of marijuana
• Amanda E. Moniz, 31, of 200 Cherry Farm Road in Harrisville, was charged Oct. 31 with driving on a suspended license and firstoffense possession of marijuana after marijuana was allegedly found in her vehicle during a traffi c stop on Route 138 east, according to police. She was held at the police station and a re-arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 6 in Newport District Court, police said.
• A juvenile was charged Oct. 31 with first-offense possession of marijuana after hours at Ft. Wetherill after an officer located marijuana during an investigation, according to police. An arraignment will be scheduled in Newport District Court, police said.
Fraudulent check charges
• Kelly A. Crouchley, 43, of 146 Sand Hill Cove Rd. in Narragansett, was charged Oct. 27 with writing fraudulent checks (under $1,000) at the Narragansett Police Dept. after Narragansett police picked Crouchley up on a Jamestown warrant, according to police. An arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 27 in Newport District Court, police said.
