This week at JEMS, 17 calls resulted in two inter-facility transfers, one transfer to South County Hospital, two refusals and 12 transports to Newport Hospital.

Trauma calls all involved injuries resulting from falls. Medical calls included difficulty breathing, fainting, diabetic reaction, vomiting and anxiety. Two calls were for lift assists.
